VicRelief Foodbank

VicRelief Foodbank is Victoria's largest, independent, emergency relief resource centre. Through a distribution network of over 600 registered welfare agencies and community organisations, we provide much needed assistance to thousands of families and individuals in financial crisis or other forms of immediate social hardship.

In 2008-09 VicRelief Foodbank delivered more than $16 million in emergency aid to local communities throughout Victoria.

VicRelief Foodbank often require volunteer fruit/produce pickers and fundraisers on an intermittent basis, in the following rural areas of Victoria.
 * Gippsland Rural
 * Barwon South West Rural
 * Loddon Mallee Rural
 * Grampians Rural

VicRelief Foodbank also (at times) require van drivers in the Hume Region.

Teams of volunteers are required to participate in a food rescue program to harvest donated produce for emergency relief programs.
